How many people in the cooking industry feel that it is a “good” avenue for and ADHD Person?

I have a son who may be ADHD and he is always throwing things together in my kitchen. Stuff I never would, but others like it. What are some of your thoughts or experiences?

    ADHD people can excel at any profession.

    If you son shows natural aptitude for cooking, then it’s a good idea to support him in those efforts.

    I actually HAVE ADHD. I love to cook, but I don’t think I could handle the hustle and bustle of a busy restaurant kitchen. I’m terrible with verbal instructions and I would forget all the orders 2 minutes after they were given to me, especially with all the activity going on around me. But that doesn’t mean another person with ADHD couldn’t handle it!

    Suggest to him that he get a job as a line cook in a small restaurant to start, before he invests any money in professional schooling.
