i know they are both related but doesn't an insulin resistance mean u have diabetes?

I had my license suspended in ohio for a dui. in order to get it back i need a certificate saying i completed a alcohol treatment program. When i called the bmv to see what kind of program they were talking about they we not too informative. I am already in alcohol abuse counseling have been for 5 months, completed the 3 day driver intervention program, and spent 40 days in jail. What treatment program would satisfy thier needs?

The lower region of my back on the left side where i experience this massive pain is soft and mushy and feels as though there is something( maybe more than one) moving around , whereas the right side is tight, solid and unaffected by me sitting in positions that otherwise aggrivate the left side( such as driving a car with a seat that isnt positioned perfectly. What does anyone think this is ? what are the treatment options?

I know on my dads side of the family diabetes is prevalent. For the past couple of months I've been extremely stressed due to work, my long term relationship with my boyfriend, finances, and family issues. I've noticed that I've been really irritated, tired, increased appetite (but I haven't gained any weight), urinating frequently, and can not stop drinking fluids. I know when my father was diagnosed with diabetes 10 years ago he was going through depression due to the death of my grandfather.

I'm on Ortho Evra and I've been with the same partner for over two years. For the past two years every time we've had sex with out a condom and he ejaculates inside of me my vagina flares up. It swells and won't go down for several hours. Even a little bit of precum hurts. It doesn't make any sense. I've been to several different doctors and none can explain it. Sometimes I get yeast infections from it. My boyfriend has a large penis and I'm not sure if that's a possible factor. I really don't know what to do. For now we just use condoms. Any suggestions? Ideas?

If I take a generic, one-a-day allergy medicine, how long will it be before it starts working? How long until peak effectiveness, and after how many hours will the effect wear off.

My friend was involved in a domestic violence case, in which her boyfriend took drugs and then physically hurt her. There were witnesses at the scene and police came to stop the boyfriend. He is in the hospital and was just arrested for attempted murder. My friend is horrified; she is in full agreement that her boyfriend needs severe alcohol and drug abuse treatment, and she would agree to domestic violence. She does not wish to testify for attempted murder because she completely disagrees with this decision. Will the case be dismissed or the charges be less because she will not testify? This is just a horrible, horrible case…

today i was playing with the back of my hair when I felt a really sharp pain, i touched it again and it hurt even more, i found no blood, then when i thought it went away I combed the back of my hair and I hit it. It feels sort of like a bump, but more like a cut, but i am not sure.

Due to the rising cost of oil I am forced to now burn wood as my main source of heat. I know that occasionally it affects myself and my son who both have allergies to trees and slight asthma. Is there any form of pervention that can be done to minimize the causes of these reactions? Special filters over the floor grate or something??
