My daughter, this summer, got thrush in her mouth. It went through her GI tract and she developed a yeasty diaper rash. (It has been treated and she fully recovered.) What I’m wondering, though, is how she got it. She was never on any antibiotics. A dog she played with, however, had a nasty ear infection which the vet identified as yeast. We didn’t realize he had the ear infection right away.

If she, for example, stuck her fingers on the underside of his ears, then put them in her mouth, could that cause thrush?

I know the silver is supposed to help the immune system but would it make the RA attack the body more, or would it make it less potent?

dog keeps falling over it cant work in a straight line and, it is sleeping loads and he says its like he is confused, or vacant?. the dose is 30mg in the morning and 30mg at night. He has been on them for 4 full days now, how should he be. I said he should be getting much livelier now and he should take him for a run, to make him a bit more active.

A childhood friend of mine and I have been running into each other a lot lately. I’ve found out recently she has epilepsy. Can you tell me what life with epilepsy is like? She’s also expecting her first child. I’m so excited for her as I know it took her and her husband a while for her to get pregnant. That leads to my second question- can you breastfeed with epilepsy? Something tells me that perhaps her medications might not be compatible (even though most meds really are compatible with breastfeeding). Thanks!

those who have bipolar disorder, are they capable of being independent? or will they always have to rely on someone to take care of them? or does it just depend on how severe the bipolar disorder is. also, i have another question. do bipolar people have a tendency to drink heavily and experience black outs quite often?

im 17 years old and ive had an yeast infection for a couple days now. and this mornin i woke up and my period had came. i also read that your period will make an yeast infection go away. is that true? or should i still visit a doctor?

my asthma went away when i was around 15, and I either want to go big and become a pilot in the USAF or join the USMC. But does having asthma at a younger age affect me?
