This is my first outbreak and i’m not sure or not is it “normal” to have a discharge during the outbreak.

My Dad would like to know please. He has tried several prescribed meds but they make him feel ill. Any ideas?

my wife thinks she has fibromyalgia. I have my doubts. She won’t take my suggestions to sleep more and exercise. She saw a rheumatologist but made the diagnosis herself by looking at the internet. How can i be sympathetic about a disease i don’t believe in? How can i - in a gentle manner - get her to see this is not a condition that is fatal, harmful, or debilitating?

I was wondering because i’m not to sure about it.

I haven’t had any symptoms or problems, but I went to the gyno for a routine check up and they told me my test results came back positive for a yeast infection. When I was at the doc’s she did say my cervix was sensitive and there may have been an infection… so it makes sense. I just find it odd that I have had no symptoms. Is this normal?

It’s 2007, and I have friends with epilepsy who encounter ignorance and sometimes open hostility on a daily basis. People act as though epilepsy is catching, treat them as though they are mentally ill or mentally retarded, and tell them that ‘they don’t look like they have epilepsy”. Epilepsy is the third most common neurological disorder in the world. It’s not rare. So why are many people so clueless about it?
The one that gets me is that people would tell someone that ‘they don’t look like they have epilepsy’ WTF? How is a person with epilepsy supposed to look? It’s bizarre.

I was diagnosed with arthritis in my elbow In December of 2007. I would like to know if it happened overnight (the arthritis), or does it building up over months or years to become painful enough to notice?

My English Cocker Spaniel is almost 14 years old. We just went through him being diagnosed with heart disease and had to have a tumor removed from his mouth and 13 teeth pulled. Recently he has been peeing on the carpet frequently, and since this was very unusual for him my mom took him to the vet. They first told her that he had serious heart disease and had anywhere from 6 months to 2 years to live (they didn’t tell us much when they diagnosed him originally, just put him on a heart pill and healthy diet). They first thought it may be the medication, but after running test they found he is in the early stages of kidney failure. They said we’d just have to put up with him peeing all over the house, and just take good care of him. Has anyone else had to go through this? Anyone know how long he probably has to live, or anything we can do to help him? Also any tips for the dealing with the wet carpets (he seems to be peeing in his sleep every night now). Any info/advice please?

may this year i was made compulsary redundant. i have tried for various jobs from assistant nurse to shop cleaner, i know its against the law to discriminate but this is what’s happening to me but i cant prove it, no one is prepared to take me on. i want to work any suggestions of where i can get help. Has anyone out there come across this problem?
